**Morningside uses the April and May meetings to facilitate our 2-part Board of Directors election process. The first part occurs at this April meeting, where the Elections Committee will ask for nominations. The second part will happen at the May 9th Annual Meeting, where the committee conducts the actual election.
This year, nominations are open for: President, 2nd Vice-President, Secretary, and 6 at-large Board of Director positions. Per our Bylaws, a member must attend at least 3 meetings in the past 12 months to be eligible to vote. So, if you've only been to 2 meetings in the last 12 months, you need to attend this meeting in order to vote in May!
