Greening of Detroit Tree Planting

Join us for a spring tree planting in northwest Morningside on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m! Sponsored by Greening of Detroit, these new trees will beautify our streets and enhance the neighborhood’s green spaces.

Volunteers of all abilities are welcome to participate—it’s a fantastic way to meet neighbors, connect with community advocates, and make a lasting impact. Central meeting location is 5583 Maryland Street. Tools and instructions will be provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help!
