Ladies’ Night Out at the Warren Café

One of the best evenings I've spent all year was on January 25, with my Morningside and East English Village sisters (and a couple of brothers) at the Warren Café.

The gathering was hosted by newsletter Associate Editor Susan Newell, who I must say is an excellent host no matter the occasion. We played an ice-breaker game to introduce ourselves that consisted of asking people “How did you get your name? Is there a story behind it? Did you like your name?” It was an exciting and interesting way to meet others and get an intimate introduction into their lives.

I was very excited and surprised to win the beautiful door prize, a bouquet of flowers, which I must say is still alive and resting on my counter today.
