Motor City Makeover in Morningside this Saturday
There are multiple opportunities to participate locally in Motor City Makeover this Saturday.
Grassroots Garden Clean Up
Come out to the West end of the neighborhood for Motor City Makeover. This Saturday, May 22, from 9:00am-12pm, we'll be cleaning up Grassroots Garden, a community garden at 14954 E Warren Avenue — it's on the corner of East Warren and Wayburn.
Volunteers will be asked to pick up trash, landscape (i.e. mow and trim), weed the vegetable beds, and restock the Little Library (bring your old books!). If you can help with any of those items, come on out. All you need to bring is gloves and good energy!
