As part of ARISE Detroit! Neighborhoods Day, we have 3 different beautification opportunities in Morningside this Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Please consider volunteering your time at one of the following locations:
Gateway Park
Cleanup the gateway to our community! Meet up at 9:00am at the corner of Mack and Alter. Contact: Aaron Smith, 313-757-2672.
Emerald Isles
Attention neighbors who live on Outer Drive —Emerald Isles is a beautification project focusing on E. Outer Drive from Mack to Chandler Park Drive. Volunteers will meet up at 10:00am at the Jefferson Branch Library, 12350 Outer Drive East. Trash bags and gloves provided. Contact: Gary Gray, 313-929-9980.
Grassroots Garden
Our community garden needs some love (and weeding). Meet up at 10:00am at 14954 E Warren Ave., the corner East Warren and Wayburn. Bring gloves, along with books for the Little Library. Contact: Monique Tate, 313-282-1760.
