Next Chapter Books Extends Pop-Up Hours Through January

The launch of Next Chapter Books at the Alger Theater has been a successful labor of love. As first-time small business owners, we are greatly encouraged by the support we've received toward our little dream. We're thankful to the Friends of the Alger, E. Warren Development Corporation and all of you who've come to say hello, browse books, shop locally, and recommend us to friends.

We’re staying at the Alger through January, continuing to grow our business, and hearing from all of you. We'll be open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this month from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We’re working to connect with the community and increase our customer base. We hope you’ll help us! We’re also using this time to explore opportunities for a permanent location with space for programming.

Many customers have shared their excitement and vision for a bookstore in the community, and we're eager to hear these ideas. It's our vision to create a literary space that invites, reflects, and inspires our neighbors. If you have yet to pop in, please do so. We'd love to meet you and hear your feedback on our collection. Our mini bookstore offers new and secondhand titles for all ages: adults, children, middle grades, and teens.
