Volunteer Cleanups in Morningside this Saturday, August 6th

Please join us this Saturday in beautifying the neighborhood!

There are two opportunities to clean up MorningSide this Saturday, August 6th, from 9pm -2pm. Emerald Isles CDC is sponsoring these local activities as part of the 16th Annual ARISE Detroit! Neighborhoods Day.

  • 9:00am to Noon: Clean up the alley and lots at 5027, 5035, and 5045 Three Mile Drive

  • 10:00am to Noon: Outer Drive Beautification - Pick up debris in the medians of East Outer Drive between Mack and Chandler Park Drive

  • Noon to 2:00pm: Volunteer Celebration at Emerald Gardens MorningSide (4716 Haverhill at Cornwall). Refreshments will be served
