Arts & Scraps Expands Hours, Needs Your Help to Continue Serving Detroit

We are pleased to announce that Arts & Scraps has expanded the hours of our community store at 16135 Harper. You’ll find recycled materials for all your craft projects on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For 34 years, Arts & Scraps has been Metro Detroit's beacon of creativity, STEM education, and environmental stewardship. That has been made possible by thousands of people doing their small part to make Arts & Scraps’ impact possible.

The ongoing challenges presented by the economic downturn, inflation and staffing shortages have left Arts & Scraps in a precarious situation. Despite our best efforts to navigate these difficult times, our financial resources have been severely affected. The goal of Rally for Arts & Scraps is to raise funds to ensure a sustainable future. Your donation will make a tangible difference, unleashing creativity, fostering learning, and building a lasting impact in our community.

Join the Rally for Arts & Scraps and become a catalyst for change. With three “laps” from June 2 to July 15, we aim to raise $40,000.

Champions who raise or give $500 will receive a special invitation to our public grand finale and receive a special thank-you gift.

Let's unleash creativity, inspire minds, and build a sustainable future for Metro Detroit. "Rally for Arts & Scraps today!"
