Independent Bookstore Launches Holiday Pop-Up at the Alger

Next Chapter Books, a new mini-bookstore offering nearly 2,000 new and contemporary secondhand books, will be open in the retail space next to the Alger Theater on weekends this holiday season, from Friday, November 25 through December 18.

“We’re excited to launch this dream of ours at a magical time of year,” says co-owner Sarah Williams. “We hope folks will stop in for Christmas gifts and leave with a few treasures for themselves.” Next Chapter Books is committed to highlighting books by local authors and authors of color at affordable prices.

Stop in and browse through their collection of contemporary fiction, science fiction, fantasy, young adult fiction, children’s books, biographies, cookbooks, and much more.
